Home Protection Spell

Four glass jars with lids lavender for peace, purification (four handfuls)
basil cleansing, protection and banishing negative energies (four handfuls)

white rice to ward off spirits and to encourage good fortune (four handfuls)

Start by cleaning your house and tidying it. Do this the day before your ritual so you have the time. The morning of the ritual get up before sunrise. Take your four jars and fill them with a handful of each ingredient. Go outside at sunrise and place each jar in your garden at North, South, East and West. If you do not have a garden, place the jars on windowsills or as close as you can to the perimeter of your house at each of these points.

As you place each jar, say the following:

North, south, east and west
At these four corners I protect my home
May the goddess bless this space Negative energy be gone
Make my home scared and pure

When you have finished placing the jars, go back inside your house, and spend some time doing something spiritual that you enjoy, such as meditation, reading, or just enjoying being in your home. This will be marking that start of a new positive time in your home. Blessed Be.
